U is an exciting space-based action game that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Developed by Geoff Keene and published by New Blood Interactive, this co-op/multiplayer game offers a thrilling experience filled with deception and trust.

In U, you take on the role of a hapless yet brave spaceman tasked with defending falling outposts. However, not everyone on your crew can be trusted. There is a traitor among you, working to ensure that no one in space will be rescued alive.

Similar to the popular game Among Us, U requires you to work together with your crew to complete random objectives. However, one of your fellow astronauts is a shapeshifting alien trying to sabotage the rescue mission. The twist is that both you and the monster are armed with guns, taking the combat to the next level.

As a spaceman, you must either complete the randomized objectives or hunt down the monster. If you are the monster, your goal is to mimic and devour all the spacemen. Lay traps or confront them head-on in your monstrous form. The main shapeshifter mode supports up to 16 players, with 15 maps spread across space. Alternatively, you can enjoy the 5-player co-op story mode or the 10-player survival mode against waves of enemies.

By completing levels, you can rank up through The Company, unlocking new customizations and perks that suit your play style. However, it's important to note that U may not be the action-packed game you expect. Some tasks can be boring, while others may seem near impossible to complete. Additionally, some sabotages may feel clunky, obvious, and ineffective.

If you enjoy asymmetrical multiplayer games, U is a great choice. The game is easy to follow and features an in-game communication system to help you coordinate with your crew. However, like other games in this genre, players tend to have short lives, and there are areas that could be improved to enhance the overall experience.
