Your mission is to take the bullet intended for the candidate, using your agility and quick reflexes to leap, roll, and fling yourself in order to prevent his untimely demise.

This satirical game offers a premise that will remind players of a former US President, adding a humorous twist to the gameplay. With over 50 levels, each stage transforms the bullet-dive action movie trope into a silly physics-based challenge. However, while the initial fun factor is high, the gameplay falls short compared to similar titles like Human: Fall Flat.

As the Kevlar-coated bodyguard named Dick "Rock Hard" Johnson, your main objective is to protect Ronald Rump, a billionaire presidential candidate constantly under threat from the media. You'll need to throw your ragdoll body in front of red laser lights in a series of bizarre environments filled with breakable objects.

With each level, the task of saving the presidential candidate becomes increasingly difficult. Timing is crucial, as leaping too soon or too close to Rump will result in failure. Failing to save him will prevent you from progressing to the next stage, forcing you to replay the level multiple times.

Mr. President! starts off as an enjoyable game that aims to make light of the topic of assassination. You'll find yourself diving through piles of money, solid walls, and even stairs to keep Rump safe. The assassins employ absurd methods, such as dropping massive tacos, to eliminate the candidate. However, as the game progresses, it becomes repetitive and frustrating.

The difficulty level increases, and the challenges start to feel randomly generated, leading to frustration. The buggy and unpredictable physics mechanics often result in Johnson's limbs flailing uncontrollably, hindering the fun gameplay. Additionally, the clunky controls and ragdoll mechanics can make the game feel unplayable at times.

Considering all factors, Mr. President! is essentially a one-joke game. It offers simple gameplay centered around the running gag of protecting the presidential candidate. However, once the novelty wears off, there isn't much depth to the game.
