The 'New Tab' page displays the most visited websites, and users can customize this page based on their preferences. The browser also offers an 'InPrivate Browsing' mode, which prevents the storage of online data, such as cookies, browsing history, and contact information.

While Internet Explorer 9 is no longer the latest version of Internet Explorer, Microsoft has replaced it with the Microsoft Edge application. However, there are alternative web browsers available, such as Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari, which offer similar functionalities and can be installed for free.

Overall, Internet Explorer 9 provides a user-friendly browsing experience with its clean design and useful features. Although it is no longer actively developed, it can still be a viable option for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users.
