Folder Painter is a personalization tool developed by Sordum, a software company known for producing various web solutions. This tool allows you to easily organize and enhance the appearance of your folders on desktop devices. With Folder Painter, you can quickly change the icons and colors of your folders in Windows Explorer, making it easier to identify and locate specific folders.

To use Folder Painter, simply right-click on a folder to access the context menu. From there, you will see a simple and straightforward prompt divided into two panes. The left pane displays the folder icon options, along with color and design previews. The right pane allows you to customize additional icon settings.

By default, Folder Painter offers three icon packages, but you can download up to 21 packs in total. You can also enable multiple context menus by installing all three packs in the Explorer's shell. Each menu represents one icon pack, and you can customize the title of each menu for easy identification.

Once you have set up the icon packs, you can easily change the color of any folder by right-clicking on it and selecting your preferred menu. From there, you can choose the desired color and design for that specific folder. If you want to revert to the original icon, simply follow the same steps and select the "Use default folder icon" option in the context menu.
