AB-HWC APK is a free program for Android developed by the National Health Portal-MoHFW. This program is part of the Ayushman Bharat initiative by the Government of India, which aims to establish a nationwide network of Health and Wellness Centres to provide a comprehensive range of healthcare services.

These Health and Wellness Centres will offer both curative and preventive care, making healthcare more accessible to the population. The program is being implemented in two phases. The first phase involves the creation of 1,50,000 Health and Wellness Centres, which will serve as platforms for the delivery of healthcare services, particularly primary healthcare services.

The second phase focuses on the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), a national-level health protection policy that provides financial assistance to the poor and vulnerable. This policy will be implemented through a network of community health centers.
